Panel Discussion: Agentic AI at the Wireless Edge

Time: 16:00-17:00, Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026

Room: GH201, PolyU

Abstract

Agentic AI brings autonomous reasoning, planning, and action to mobile and wireless systems. This panel will explore how AI agents can operate effectively at the wireless edge, where communication, computation, and energy constraints shape what is feasible. Topics will include cooperation among agents, coordination across devices, edge servers, and the cloud, and the challenges of reliable deployment in dynamic environments. Drawing on perspectives from networking, distributed learning, and embodied intelligence, the panelists will discuss opportunities for practical applications, lessons from emerging systems, and open research questions. Brief opening statements will be followed by an interactive discussion and audience Q&A.
